Pre-Race Skills Clinic and Rental Gear
New to the sport? Want to hone your skills? Join the Skimo Canada Pre-Race Skills Clinic from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. Led by Canadian National Team athlete Aly Walford and National Development Team athlete Grant Flagler, this hands-on session will teach essential skills like transitions, skinning, bootpacking, and more — helping you feel confident and ready for the race.

What to Expect
The Norquay Skimo Twilight Series format is an exhilarating 60-minute race where participants climb, descend, and repeat.
This is a night-time event, headlamps are essential! The course is designed to be approachable for beginners, with:
- A gentle skin track featuring a few kick turns
- A descent on an easy blue groomer
- Each lap covering 125-135 meters of vertical
Experienced racers can still push their limits to complete as many laps as possible in 60 minutes. The racer with the most vertical at the end of the hour takes the win!
